On Friday, March 6, 2015, the Knights of Columbus Good Shepherd Council 10685 will host a simple meal of soup and bread before Stations of the Cross. The meal will be served in the Parish Hall.

Set up begins at 5:15. Please bring soup and bread to the kitchen between 5:15 and 5:45. Soup is served at 6:00. Stations of the Cross begin at 7:00

  • We need volunteers to donate six to eight pots of soup. We will use crockpots and chafing dishes to serve the soup. You may bring your soup in plastic containers. Soup suggestions include: black bean, tomato, vegetable, clam chowder, corn chowder, potato, French onion, cream of mushroom, broccoli cheese, vegetarian chili, and split pea.
  • We also need volunteers to donate loaves of bread or rolls.
  • The parish will provide the bowls, plates, napkins, cups, utensils, butter, and placemats.
  • We need 3 or 4 volunteers at 5:15 to set the tables and the buffet line.
  • We need 3 or 4 volunteers at 6:45 to clean up.

You can volunteer online by Going Here –  click on the Soup and Stations signup sheet. Or contact GK Jerry Wood (woodjerome@aol.com) or Marty Carr (732-2041) and let us know how you are able to help.

Thank you in advance for your help.
