Fraternal Knights Benefits Evening

The Knights of Columbus is hosting a Fraternal Benefits Night on Tuesday, May 16, from 7 to 9 p.m. in Parish Hall A. All Catholic men of the parish (and their spouses) are invited; you do not need to be a current member of the Knights of Columbus in order to attend. Estate Lawyer, Paul Daggs, General Agent, Steve Hutek, and Field Agent Paul Brotzen, will be giving a short presentation on the fraternal benefits of the Knights of Columbus. Meeting Moved to February 15

Next week’s regular business meeting has been moved to Wednesday, February 15. The original meeting fell on St. Valentines Day. Given that most of our Brother Knights are married, it has been decided to avoid the conflict with this truly special day in which to celebrate Love.

2017 Easter Egg & French Toast Breakfast Hunt

The Knights of Columbus Good Shepherd Council 10685 invite all children 10 years of age and younger and their families to the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday morning, April 8The hunt begins promptly at 9:30 and will be held on the Church lawn adjacent to the Parish Hall.  The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures before and after the hunt, so bring your cameras.

The Good Shepherd Knights of Columbus Council is sponsoring a French Toast and Sausage breakfast on Saturday, April 8, from 8:00 until 10:30, in the Parish Hall.  Tickets will cost $5 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under.  The adult breakfast will include two slices of French toast, sausage patties, orange juice, & coffee.  The child breakfast will include one slice of French toast, sausage patty, orange juice, & milk.  Tickets will be sold after the Masses, beginning the weekend of March 18 & 19, 2017.

The breakfast is scheduled for the same morning as the parish Easter Egg Hunt.  The hunt will begin at 9:30.  We are hoping that many of the families who attend the hunt will also join us for breakfast.

Brother Knights – Assistance  Needed:  We will need your help setting up for the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday morning, April 8.  Please arrive at the church by 8:30 am to help spread the candy over the lawn near the Parish Hall.

We will need the help of Brother Knights to help sell tickets after the Masses, and to prepare, serve, and clean up after the French Toast breakfast on April 8.  Preparation will begin at 6:00 am. Please contact Marty Carr (732-2041).

Keep Christ in Christmas Card Sale

The annual Keep Christ in Christmas card sale will be held from October 29 until November 20.  We will be selling these religious Christmas cards after each Mass each weekend. We are in need of volunteers to man the table in the parish hall after each Sunday mass.  Please contact Martin Carr at or call me at 717-732-2041 to volunteer.
