Knights and parishioners from our council have put the finishing touches on a Habitat for Humanity project to construct a two-unit house for low-income families in Steelton this year. The project began in February with construction of an integrated concrete form framework for the walls, pouring of concrete, and then interior work to complete the rooms. The units are now move-in certified, with the first family scheduled to occupy one unit by the end of 2023. We have contributed 195 hours of volunteer labor to this and other Habitat projects in the Harrisburg area this fraternal year.
